Electronic Technician - Repair and Technical Service

As a repair technician at Dectro International, you'll be responsible for providing technical advice to our customers and repairing our electronic devices for permanent hair removal and aesthetic treatments. Job description

• Answer customers' technical questions (French and English)
• Diagnose technical problems
• Visit certain schools to service devices and equipment at their request
• Provide technical support to customers on devices
• Perform diagnostics on devices and track equipment internally and externally
• Quote repairs to customers
• Carefully draft various reports (calls, queries, e-mail, etc.)
• Repair electronic circuits and devices
• Assemble circuit components
• Circuit commissioning and device calibration
• Checking and packing devices
• Other related tasks

Education and requirements

• DVS or DCS in electronics or equivalent experience;
• Ability to visualize assembly, read blueprints;
• Work with production tools: oscilloscope, multimeter, computer, soldering iron;
• Ability to anticipate problem situations and act quickly;
• Manual and digital dexterity;
• Speed and precision;
• Bilingual (French and English);
• Excellent communication skills, good listening skills, courteous;
• Knowledge of the Office suite
• Valid driver's license
