Recommendations: 

• Dip the tool in a bowl of water as often as needed throughout the massage. 

• For an extra cooling effect, chill it by adding cold water or ice cubes to the bowl. Let clients know they may experience temperature contrasts on their skin. 

• To minimize noise, place a disposable tissue at the bottom of the bowl. 

• Dry the tool before applying it to the skin. 

• Be mindful of bony areas and adjust pressure based on the client’s comfort.
